Things to know before buying
Should I use my car dealer to apply my new car’s ceramic coating?
Most dealers will outsource this work to a local provider, who’ll provide the service to them at a price lower than you’ve paid the dealer. Avoid just handing over more dollars than you need to by buying a better-quality product direct from us.
How long does the coating process take?
The application process can take anywhere from a few hours to a full day or more, depending on the preparation work required, your vehicle and the number of coating layers being applied. We’ll discuss this with you before you decide to proceed.
Do you offer different types or levels of ceramic coatings?
Yes, we offer various ceramic coating options with different levels of durability and protection to suit your needs and budget.
Will a ceramic coating prevent scratches and rock chips?
While ceramic coatings offer increased resistance to minor scratches and swirl marks, they are not impenetrable against deep scratches or damage from rock chips. If this is a concern, consider our paint protection films.
How should I care for my car after getting a ceramic coating?
Regular washing with pH-neutral soap is recommended. Avoid abrasive cleaning products and automatic car washes with harsh brushes. Hand washing is ideal.
Can I still wax or polish my car after it’s been ceramic coated?
Waxing is generally not necessary as the ceramic coating provides its own protective layer. Polishing may be possible but should be done cautiously and is typically not required.
